While listening to two mutual friends talk I heard the word ganga for the first time. These two friends, older than me by 20 years, share a language all their own. They have been best friends for almost 30 years. When they talk with one another, I never know if the words they are using are real words.
There are times when a word just sounds wrong. Actually this word sounded like something that should not be said in polite company. I doubted that it meant anything too bad since both these men are pastors.
I was relieved to find out that the word means a bargain or a good deal.
In researching this word, I learned that in English it can be used in a negative way. Please do not leave comments about what it means in English.
