Impío is a word that I see in the Bible all the time. It is used to mean wicked. It has the flavor of just being a Bible word. Sometimes I have noticed words which are used in the Bible, but don’t get used much in every day speech. Last night as I watched a TV show and read the open captioning underneath, I saw the word impío used. There it was used to render the word godless.
